Restorative yoga differs from other Asana practices as it enables deep relaxation as you hold poses for longer periods of time with the help of props to completely support you, without strain or pain so that you can achieve physical, mental and emotional relaxation.

Restorative yoga allows you to relearn the art of relaxation while developing the skills and abilities to self-soothe. It enhances our healing capacity through helping us regulate the stress response and re-balance the nervous system.

YIN yoga class

Bring some Yin to your Yang.

Yin Yoga is a slow-paced style of yoga that incorporates principles of traditional Chinese medicine. Each asana is held for an extended period of time which allows sensations to grow in intensity as we improve in flexibility and mobility.. It targets deep tissues in the body.

As opposed to other flow classes where we actively stretch and move in a dance-like rhythm, Yin involves passive stretching and encourages you to relax deeper into each posture.

Unlike restorative yoga, yin classes can be physically intense and challenging. The aim is to strengthen the skill of meditation by becoming comfortable in stillness.

These classes include a meditation practice that will help to cultivate mindfulness.

Suitable for all levels.

Children’s yoga class

Teaches children to self-regulate their emotions and calm the nervous system through mindful movement with a focus on visual language. Yoga for children aids the development of gross motor skills, strength and coordination, while encouraging body awareness and self- esteem in a calm environment.

Yoga enhances concentration and memory. It provides them with breathwork and mindfulness skills that they can integrate into their daily lives.

Breathwork, Meditation & yOGA nIDRA

It can be easy to rush through life without stopping to notice much.

Paying more attention to the present moment – to your own thoughts and feelings, and to the world around you – can improve your mental wellbeing.

Breathwork, meditation techniques and yoga Nidra are some ways to tap into our inner world.

We can switch from the sympathetic nervous system (Fight or flight) into the para-sympathetic (Rest & digest).
